Common questions
Restore a previous purchase
Open Settings in PPG Track & Train and tap Restore Purchases in the PPG Track & Train Upgrade section. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Restoring never charges you again; Apple may ask you to sign in.
What's free and what the upgrade adds
The free tier covers one player, all preset courses, one custom course, the standard and manual timers, microphone calibration, and full Open Range use, including Rate of Fire. The PPG Track & Train Upgrade is a one-time purchase tied to your App Store account. It adds 2, 3 and 4 player sessions, planning for up to four shooters, editing preset courses and more Armory items. If you reach a free Armory limit, your saved records stay; you're only offered the upgrade when you add another.
Shot sensing misses or adds shots
Open Settings › Audio & Shot Detection › Microphone Calibration and run the guided calibration at your normal distance. Check which audio input is selected, and keep the phone safely positioned away from firearm handling. You can switch to the manual timer at any time by long-pressing the timer control.
Plan a future range day
Pick the course, stages and up to four shooters. The app works out the ammunition and equipment you'll need, and you can add the day to Apple Calendar. Planning for more than one shooter needs the upgrade, even if the Match screen is in single-player mode.
Armory, serial numbers and NFA records
Firearms, accessories, service history, photos and documents stay on your iPhone. NFA-designated items, their documents and serial-number access can be locked behind Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode in Settings › Privacy & Secure Storage.
Your data, backups and a new iPhone
PPG Track & Train keeps profiles, Armory entries, results, history, documents and optional photos only on your device. We don't have a copy and can't recover it. Deleting the app deletes this data. To move to a new phone or keep a copy, use the app's export or encrypted backup and save it somewhere you choose. Keep the backup password safe, because it can't be reset.

Safety comes first
PPG Track & Train is a scoring, timing, planning and record-keeping aid. It isn't firearm instruction and doesn't replace a qualified instructor or range officer. Always follow the law, range commands and every firearm-safety rule. Use dry-fire features only with an unloaded firearm in a safe dry-fire area.
