Your range data stays on your iPhone.

Overview

PPG Track & Train is made by Prestia Precision Gunworks LLC. The app works without an account, advertising, analytics or diagnostics SDKs, or any developer-run cloud service. Your app data is stored on your device, and we don't collect or receive it.

Information stored on your device

The app may store player names, firearm and accessory records, linked equipment, optional serial numbers, NFA designations and documents, service history and maintenance dates, range-day plans, course and stage settings, equipment checklists, shot placements, scores, timer results, shot splits, calibration thresholds, match history, and photos you choose to add. This information stays in the app's private storage on your device and is used only for the app's scoring, timing, planning and history features.

Microphone

Microphone access is optional. It's requested only when you start guided calibration or the shot-sensing timer. Sound is analyzed live on the device to detect shots and calculate thresholds and splits. PPG Track & Train doesn't record, keep or send audio; only numbers such as thresholds, shot times and splits are saved. If you decline, you can use the manual timer.

Camera and photos

Camera and photo-library access are optional. They're used only when you take or choose an Armory photo, or choose to photograph a final paper target on the match-completion screen. Target photos are saved with Match History. No image is analyzed, uploaded or sent anywhere.

Calendar, sharing and backups

Calendar access is optional and is used only when you add a planned range day to Apple Calendar. Exports (PDF, CSV, JSON), email and share actions, and encrypted backups go through Apple's share sheet, and only to the destination you pick. We never receive a copy. Portable backups are encrypted with a password you create.

Face ID, Touch ID and passcode

Optional app and record locking uses Apple's Local Authentication. PPG Track & Train only learns whether authentication succeeded. It never receives or stores your biometric data or device passcode.

Purchases

The optional upgrade is processed by Apple through the App Store. PPG Track & Train receives confirmation of your purchase from Apple, but never your payment-card details.

Sharing and tracking

PPG Track & Train doesn't sell personal information, track you across apps or websites, or send app records to us. Information leaves the app only when you deliberately share or export it.

Retention and deletion

Your information stays on the device until you reset or delete it in the app, or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its remaining data. Copies in your device backups follow your Apple and iCloud settings.

Children

PPG Track & Train isn't directed to children and is intended for lawful use with appropriate adult, instructor and range supervision where required.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, we'll update this page and the App Store privacy details before the affected version is released, and revise the date above.
